The robotised Optitronic gearbox, originally marketed on the Renault Midlum, is now being made available on Renault Trucks’ Premium Distribution range. The French manufacturer is offering the  6AS 1000 model of its robotised Optitronic gearbox on all the 4 x 2 versions of the Renault Premium Distribution : from 270 to 300bhp, in 16t, 18t or 19t load versions and with up to 13 wheelbases available. The main advantage of this robotised box is in fuel consumption, with savings of up to 7%.
