The European Freight Forwarding index (published by Danske Bank) is moving downwards, but this is principally due to the summer period. Participants are not concerned and still believe in the recovery. Air and sea freight recently recorded double digit growth and road freight has also grown, less strongly but nevertheless positively. We will need to wait for the next index to be certain that the economy is indeed recovering.
