For two and a half years, Dutch company Nijman/Zeetank (glass and chemical products transport), has been testing Michelin X One XDN2 Grip tyres. Satisfied with these tests, the company has decided to fit all new vehicles with these extra wide tyres. It has in particular just acquired 11 new Scania vehicles, all equipped with these tyres mounted singly on the motor axle. According to Nijman/Zeetank the advantages are : excellent yield in terms of kilometres driven, a weight gain and satisfied drivers.
