DAF is now offering the 6.7 litre Paccar GR engine in EEV (Enhanced Environmentally-friendly Vehicles) version, thus becoming the first heavy trucks manufacturer whose whole range of engine types is available with extra-low emissions values. These engines emit 33% less particulates than the current Euro-5 engines. It should be noted that a certain number of the variations of the Paccar MX 12.9 litre units now meet the EEV norm without having a particulate filter fitted.
