According to expert Gary Beecroft (Clear), the semi-trailer market should grow by only 16% in Western Europe in 2010. This is less than hoped for following the drop of 77% recorded in 2009, a fact which is explained by the low level of orders taken during the first months of the year. Things are expected to get better during the second half of 2011, but Beecroft believes there is little likelihood of returning one day to the levels recorded in 2007.
